Oh sweet memories of Fruit Roll-Ups. They used “real fruit”, right? WRONG. However, this Homemade Fruit Leather recipe IS the real thing – and so much tastier.

  • 1. Roughly chop berries.
  • 2. Place in a pot and cook a little, to release juices.
  • 3. Pour into food processor, add honey (I use 2 Tbsp) and blend.
  • 4. Pour onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
  • 5. Make sure it's not too thick or too thin. Too thin it will become more like fruit crisps. Too thick it won't dehydrate or when it does it's just gooey.
  • 6. Set you oven to the LOWEST setting it will go.
  • 7. Place in oven for 4 to 6 hours.
  • 8. If husband accidentally turns the oven on super high try not to yell at him (Laaaaarrrrreeeee) but calmly turn oven off for awhile. Apparently they will still turn out. Phew.
